Team collaboration: OpenAtrium
I am a Drupal fan. Drupal is an open source CMS system. I have been using it for years, probably since version 3 and now using version 6, including for this site.
Drupal can also be used as an intranet, there are loads of modules that you can add to Drupal so it can do more or less what you want. As far as project management is concerned you will get as far as document management, issue tracking, forums, online documentations and wikis. Nothing really as complex as timesheets and online gantts. However it can prove very useful for team collaboration. Best of all it's free and just need PHP and MySQL to run.
Recently the guys at DevelopmentSeed created an open source intranet package based on Drupal, they called it OpenAtrium. It is still in Beta but it already look nice and offers features like blogging, documents, calendar.
I will certainly play with it very soon and maybe it will become the intranet solution for the 7 or so people start-up I am currently involved in.

Ashley,
Yes I did. I have tried it a little as well. Very powerful capabilities but still very beta for now.
Google Wave of course as wider feature set than Atrium. However I think they are not really in the same "space". Atrium is more focus on intranet communication and Wave more on one-to-many or one to one collaboration.
Have you ever come across Google wave. I think thats gonna be a powerful colloboration tool in the future.
